Membership

The South Eastern Gundog Society welcomes inquiries
from gundog enthusiasts at any level.

Candidates for membership of the Society must be proposed
and seconded by two exisiting members of the Society.
The Applicant will then be considered for election at the next
Committee Meeting.

Candidates who are not elected to membership by 1st August in
any year shall not enjoy the privileges of entry as a member of
the Society’s Field Trials for that season although the subscription
will cover membership for the following year.

An entrance fee of £4.00 is paid by a new member on joining
the Society and by any former member on re-admittance to
the Society.

Annual Subscription for each member is
£8.00 (UK & Ireland), £13.00 (Overseas) and
£3.00 for bona fide Gamekeepers

The Society does not offer joint membership

All subscriptions are payable in advance to the Hon Treasurer on
1st January of each year. The preferred method of payment is by
Standing Order. If membership is allowed to lapse and the fee is
unpaid by the Annual General Meeting in March, a re-joining fee
of £4.00 is payable.

A copy of the Society’s Rules will be sent with any requests for

It should be noted that whilst membership of SEGS entitles the
member to receive the Society’s annual Year Book and to attend
Training Classes it does not guarantee entry to the Society’s
Working Tests and Field Trials, entries to which are limited and
subject to a draw. Additionally there are charges made to attend
Training Classes, entry fees for Working Tests and a nomination
fee and entry fee for Field Trials.
